Braumon Creighton, a Nebraska native, brings a unique skill set
to Cardinal Wrestling Club. Coach Creighton enjoyed an outstanding
prep career going undefeated as a senior. In college, he competed
for the University of Nebraska at Omaha. There he was a two-time
NCAA DII National Champion (134lb & 141lb) and four-time All-American.
He finished his career second in all-time wins with 151 victories.
Creighton was also selected as the University's "Student-Athlete
of the Year."
Coach Creighton began his coaching career in California at San
Francisco State University as an assistant coach working with Lars
Jensen. Since leaving SFSU, he has been a head wrestling coach at
the Junior College and High School levels. Coach Creighton has recently
completed his Master's degree from San Francisco State University
in Sports Psychology and has returned to SFSU as an assistant coach.
